Volunteering is a great way to get amongst the action and help support the UK Barista Championships.

    Volunteer at the UKBC

    Whether you are entering, or just fancy finding out a bit more about what goes on at the competitions why not come along for the day and help with any of the following...

    Photographer Have you got some super shooting skills to catch those pours and signature drinks without blocking the audience or judges?

    Runners All those cups need taking out of the way, without disrupting the set

    Crew The SCAE UK / UKBC road show takes a good few hours to set up and breakdown. Could you turn up a bit earlier, or stay later and help with this?

    Charity machine We have a machine at the back of each heat where entering baristas can show their talents to the audience in between heats. However, with all the pressure, it's not always feasible, so we always need a barista to jump on and make drinks. We ask for donations from the public for the drinks made.
    Let's see if we can top the £750 raised for Coffee Kids in 2011.
